Yes, Steve was picking on me and accusing me of dishonesty (and my wife) but I am complaining about the inaccuracy of his statements and an apparent double-standard. I don't want to be "cut slack" for any reason, *especially* because of which side I am on (was on or will be on). I want my position to stand, fall or be modified on its merits. I don't believe in "cutting slack" for myself and often not for others; it is not part of my religious beliefs; it is not part of my religion. (Stated because my religious beliefs have been made an issue in this n.g., twice now, by one Christian, Steve Whitlach. I protest that while his other actions of exposing undesirable conduct by Scientology(tm) I like and respect.) I defend Steve Fishman's right to criticize and to express his opinions and any factual information that he may have --but I do insist on his being accurate-- especially when making heavy accusations. I expect the same of me or anyone else, giving or receiving and again, *especially* regardless of which side is involved. My position on this point may be right or it may be wrong. It is an opinion and as such is just another of my religious beliefs, expressed here so you know where I am coming from. Speaking of "sides". I am not here to destroy Scientology(tm). I do hope to expose or help to expose *conduct* of theirs (or anyone else's, including my own, if any) that I believe infringes on the rights, freedoms and well being of others. This course of action may result in the nullification of Scientology(tm), if so, so be it. As far as I am concerned the target is the inappropriate conduct, regardless of which side it is on. Just trying to clarify my targets. I would like to see a new civilization come about. Rev.
