Dowsing, Remote Viewing & the Future Remote Viewing instructor Paul Smith discussed how dowsing and remote viewing can be used to predict and visit the future. It's as if your consciousness can travel in time, both forward and back, he said. Large scale "deterministic" events in the future can't be changed, he noted, but if a person learns of an upcoming event they can alter their reaction to it, such as avoiding an area that will be hit with a catastrophe. Joining Smith for a segment was remote viewer Major Ed Dames who has predicted a solar "kill shot" for a number of years, and talked about how many of his remote viewing students described people living underground. Smith commented it's problematical if an accurate timeline isn't associated with a prediction, as people aren't able to prepare in a timely manner. Dowsing is used when you know what you're looking for, but you don't know the location, Smith explained. The technique, typically used with a pendulum or stick, can also be employed without any device, by learning to recognize impressions in your own body. Once a person has developed skill in dowsing, they can use it to gain knowledge about future disasters, or to make decisions about housing, jobs and cities, he said.
